Crombie Country Park Poppy Run organised by Dundee Sweatshop staff and volunteers
I had the pleasure of being involved in the areas first Poppy Run. It was a great day and a very emotional and heart warming event. I took some photos and videos at it along with other people at the event then put it into a video to raise awareness for the charities and for the runners to have something to look back upon.
The Poppy Run Dundee was part of national series of 5k fun runs, This first one to take place in this area and was at Crombie Country Park on the 26th of October 2014. The aim of the event is to raise funds and awareness for the Royal British Legion and Poppy Scotland Poppy Appeal.
I have just launched a Dundee Half Marathon and Full Marathon page on the site.
That took place on the 20th of July 2014.
It features Videos, Tweets and Instagram photos. Go take a look now!!

Yesterday I attended the 2nd birthday celebration of parkrun at Camperdown Country Park on behalf of Dundee Sweatshop. It was the first one I had been to and I have to say it was fantastic, I have just uploaded all the photos I took at the event. Please click on the image below to see them all.
After going through 700+ photos from Sunday. I can happily say all the photos from the day are now uploaded to the website. I can finally stop using my laptop as a pillow after all that editing and go for a wee jog around the block as a treat.
Here's a link to the photos Ronnie McIntosh 10 km
Yesterday i cycled my trusty steed to Camperdown Country Park to take photos of the runners taking part in the 5km and 10km races, in memory of former Hawkhill Harriers runner Ronnie McIntosh.
The atmosphere there was fantastic everyone was so happy and friendly. Well done to everyone that took part.
I'm sure after the great response there will be one next year.
It was grand to hear some of the Runners had even had time to visit this website before the race even though it went live an hour before. The Runners had also mentioned how great the course was and how hard it was, which made me regret not signing up. Oh well there is always next year. Anyway the photos from the 5km Race are now live and the 10km will be later today.
Please feel free to take what ever photos you like but try not to crop the website name out, Thanks in advance!
